Chef - Aged Care

Your new role

In our new state-of-the-art aged care facility located in the heart of St Kilda, Sacred Heart Community supports people as they age within their local community. Our residents come to us after a lifetime of living with persistent disadvantage; each finding a home, welcoming of their life experiences and diversity.

Working part time (31 hours per week), you will play a key role in cooking 3 healthy and delicious meals per day in accordance with Aged Care Standards and operating effectively as part of a tight knit team.

We're looking for

  • A skilled chef with certificate III in commercial cookery with current Food Safety Certificate
  • Availability to work Monday & Fridays from 6:30am to 2:30pm, and Tuesday & Wednesday from 6am to 2:30pm
  • A calm and focused individual
  • A genuine team player
