Your new role
The Wellness Place provides support to at least 150 clients each month through a range of allied health therapies and skills development activities.
The Wellbeing and Participation Worker is a new part time role within The Wellness Place (WP). In this role, you will work across Engagement Hubs and Wellness Place to build relationships and enhance participation and quality outcomes for Hub clients.

Your day-to-day
Your typical day will include:
- Ensuring a welcoming and safe environment is maintained in collaboration with all SHC workers
- Supporting clients to build confidence, have fun and try new things
- Working creatively with complex clients to build relationships and facilitate engagement
The person we're looking for
The successful candidate will be:
- Someone who has experience with group facilitation skills, particularly in the areas of mental health, substance use, or addressing social isolation
- Someone with good communication skills who collaborates well as part of a team
- Experienced working in homelessness, mental health, AOD and community settings
- Able to work appropriately with people who are using substances and may have untreated mental illness
- Someone who has knowledge of/and understanding of trauma and homelessness
- Able to maintain accurate, professional and timely client records and data collection in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
