As the 2IC to the Manager People and Culture, this is a perfect opportunity for someone with the right experience to take their next career step.
You will be responsible for the case management of matters relating to misconduct, under performance and grievances, ensuring our policies, procedures and procedures comply with current legislation and leading a small team to provide excellent HR transactional services.
Your typical day
- Undertake the end-to-end case management of matters relating to misconduct, under performance and grievances
- Ensure you and your team undertake the day-to-day employee life cycle activities efficiently and effectively
- Provide quality, value-add employee relations advice to people leaders and employees
- Keep abreast of current HR and ER legislation, issues and trends
- Update People and Culture policies, procedures and practices to comply with new initiatives, guidelines and relevant legislation
We're looking for someone who
- Is a degree qualified HR/IR professional who is energised by complex and diverse ER/HR landscapes
- Has considerable experience in value driven employee relations including the independent end-to-end case management of matters relating to misconduct, underperformance, and grievances
- Has previous experience working in a HR department
- Possesses a solid understanding and knowledge of transactional HR processes and requirements
- Is able to supervise and lead a small team
- Is a team player with a proactive, inclusive, practical and hands on approach
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Annual salary for the role is $110K- $118K per annum (pro rata if part time)
