As a qualified In Home Support Worker your main responsibility will be to help our clients within their homes to maintain a level of independence, assisting with day-to-day activities and improving quality of life.
Your shifts will vary between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday servicing St Kilda and Melbourne surrounds, with some weekend work also available.
A typical day will look like:
- Supporting our clients to be independent
- Provide fun social interaction;
- Assisting clients with personal care, shopping, travel to appointments, or simply a stroll in the park;
- Assisting with Healthcare needs and medical appointments; and
- Inputting progress notes on each client at the end of each shift

We're looking for
A high level of empathy and understanding for people from a variety of backgrounds will be key to your success. Our ideal candidates will be comfortable handling complex behaviours, with the resilience and empathy needed to take any situation on the chin.
The successful candidate will have:
- Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (Ageing);
- A current First Aid Certificate including CPR ;
- A current Drivers Licence with a reliable registered car; and
- Current COVID-19 vaccination certificate which includes your booster
A current First Aid and CPR Certificate are essential, however, if you have not obtained either the clearance or the certificate, don’t let this stop you from applying for this wonderful opportunity.
