Your new role
You will be part of the Health & Wellbeing Team with the responsibility of responding to the diverse emotional, spiritual and religious needs of people accessing our Engagement Hubs.
We are looking for a people-person to join our team 5 days a week (25 hours per week) who has:
- Background and qualifications in Pastoral Care (Clinical Pastoral Education, Theology, or Spirituality)
- A minimum of three years’ experience in the provision of pastoral care in a community-based setting
- Previous pastoral experience in the homelessness sector is highly desirable
- Respect and sensitivity to persons of various religious, cultural and ethnic backgrounds, Life philosophies and Faith Traditions
- Highly-developed communication, interpersonal and active listening skills
- Exceptional planning skills and ability to complete pastoral care plans

Your day to day
A typical day would have you spending time in our Engagement Hubs assertively outreaching to the men and women who access our Services. You’ll be constantly building relationships with staff, volunteers and people experiencing homelessness and will be a key collaborator in our team.
