Your new role
Our Sacred Heart Local program supports people in the community through Home Care Packages (HCP) and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) packages.
Multiple positions are available in Preston, Dandenong and St Kilda areas.

Your day-to-day
A typical day will involve arriving at a client’s home and assisting them with:
- self-care
- shopping
- meal preparation,
- cleaning
- transport to various appointments.
You’ll facilitate daily living for our clients which is the key to remaining safe their home and to maintain their relative independence.
You’ll provide companionship to interesting people and may encounter clients with complexities, such as social isolation. Working independently, your strong alignment to the values of Sacred Heart Mission will drive you to make a real difference to the lives of those we support.
We're looking for
- Compassionate people to join our team on a casual basis
- Relevant personal care qualifications, eg: Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (Ageing)
- An Australian/international driver’s licence and access to your own car
- A current first aid certificate including CPR
- Experience with multiple and complex care needs (desirable)
- A minimum 16 hours availability per week
- Motivation to help people maintain their independence

- Pay rate of $29.22 per hour plus superannuation on weekdays (includes casual loading)
