Your New Role
As a Lead Inclusion Facilitator, you'll help improve economic and social inclusion outcomes for people who have experienced long-term homelessness. You will support Journey 2 Social Inclusion participants through employment placements, volunteering opportunities, training, and tailored group and individual interventions.
There are multiple roles. One is a maximum-term part-time opportunity (0.8 FTE), starting asap, with the contract ending 31 August 2028.
The other role is a parental leave cover maximum-term part-time opportunity (0.8 FTE), starting asap, with the contract ending 28 May 2027.

Your Day-To-Day
As a Lead Inclusion Facilitator, you'll support individuals with all phases of their engagement, including connection to community, education, job seeking, volunteering and/or work readiness. Your day may include:
- Assisting participants in identifying and working towards employment, training, study, and volunteer opportunities.
- Collaborating with Intensive Case Managers to minimise barriers to economic and social inclusion.
- Building relationships with employment providers, training organisations, and social enterprises to create opportunities for participants.
- Using an outreach model, engaging with participants in the community and their homes to provide tailored employment strategies.
- Providing post-employment support to ensure long-term success in workforce engagement.
Essentials for Success
- Proven ability to support participants with complex needs in achieving workforce and social inclusion goals.
- A trauma-informed approach to supporting participants.
- Good interpersonal, communication and willingness to address and work through challenges within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Experience in employment services including job placement, career counselling, skills training (desirable).

- $48.11 - $50.63 per hour (dependent on qualification and experience).
