As part of our evolving People Services team, the People Services Coordinator (Talent Acquisition) plays a critical role in helping Sacred Heart Mission attract and hire great people. You’ll support our leaders across the organisation with recruitment and contribute to projects that improve our candidate and hiring manager experience.

Your day-to-day

  • Leading and advising Managers in their recruitment across a wide array of programs areas contributing to the design of new recruitment initiatives that are targeted and business centred.
  • Coordinating advertisements and safety screening of candidates (including interviews, reference checks and other recruitment tasks when requested). 
  • Preparing employee documentation including contracts, secondments etc.
  • Connecting with candidates, and internal and external stakeholders, to provide professional people-centered experiences. 
  • Contributing to broader recruitment and onboarding strategies that work towards efficiency and best practice. 
  • Work closely with the Team Leader, Business Partners and other members of People and Culture to deeply understand and predict the needs of the organisation. 

We're looking for someone with

  • Relevant qualifications in Human Resources, Recruitment or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the provision of contemporary recruitment strategies. 
  • A digital mindset and commitment to providing the best candidate experience.
  • A diligent approach to Safety Screening and compliance of candidates. 
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to be across many programs, awards and contract details.   
  • A proactive, inclusive and compassionate approach to talent acquisition.
