Your new role
Sacred Heart Community is a 97-bed residential aged care facility providing person-centred and trauma-informed care for residents with diverse and complex needs. Our residents have experienced homelessness, disadvantage, or social exclusion, and include younger individuals not typically eligible for standard aged care services.
As Facility Manager, you will lead a large, multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care in a home where people feel safe, respected, and supported to live with dignity.

Your day-to-day
- Lead the day to day operations of Sacred Heart Community—keeping things running smoothly and aligned with SHM values, strategy and quality standards.
- Oversee compassionate, trauma-informed, person-centred clinical care that empowers residents and promotes wellbeing.
- Keep operations and budgets on track ensuring achievement of AN-ACC and other funding targets, and regulatory frameworks.
- Ensure delivery of an engaging and inclusive lifestyle program that brings connection, joy and meaning to residents’ lives.
- Inspire and support your team with clear, purpose-led leadership that fosters a positive and inclusive culture.
- Work closely with SHM leaders to drive our Strategy 2030 goals and mission impact.
- Champion culturally safe, respectful care for all - especially for First Nations peoples, LGBTQIA+ residents, and those from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Lead quality, risk and safeguarding initiatives that protect and uplift the safety, dignity and wellbeing of residents and staff
We're looking for someone with
- Current APHRA RN Division 1 registration
- Proven leadership experience in Residential Aged Care facility, with a strong understanding of person-centred care
- Demonstrated experience in embedding trauma-informed approaches across practice, systems, and culture
- Deep knowledge of aged care and NDIS standards, compliance frameworks, and safeguarding including proven experience in responding to audit/incident/regulatory review
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
