Your New Role
As the Individual Giving Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in delivering an ambitious new strategy aimed at reaching more people in more communities.
Working closely with the Head of Fundraising, you’ll manage direct appeals, donor acquisition campaigns, and our regular giving program — all with the goal of growing our individual giving revenue. In this role you will lead the end-to-end delivery of compelling multi-channel fundraising appeals and help create experiences that inspire generosity and long-term donor engagement.
We are looking for someone with experience in individual giving, is a self-starter who thrives both independently and in a team. Who brings creativity and attention to detail to campaign planning and is passionate about making a difference in people’s lives!

Your day-to-day
As the Individual Giving Coordinator, your goal will be to drive performance across the Individual Giving program and deepen donor relationships. A typical day might include:
- Managing and implementing Sacred Heart Mission’s Individual Giving Strategy to meet income targets.
- Leading the development of compelling appeals and donor campaigns across multiple channels.
- Creating donor journeys that build trust and inspire long-term giving.
- Writing and coordinating fundraising content that resonates with donors.
- Supporting donor acquisition, reactivation and upgrades, especially for regular giving.
We're looking for someone with
- Demonstrated experience delivering successful fundraising campaigns, especially appeals and regular giving.
- High level interpersonal, communication and presentational skills and ability to craft emotive donor-centred content.
- Strong data analysis skills and familiarity with donor best practice.
- Self-motivation and strong organisational skills including attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage a pressurised workload, especially during peak times such as appeals and events.
- Experience using Raiser’s Edge (highly desirable).
- Diploma or tertiary qualification in fundraising or communications (desirable).

- Classification: Social and Community Services Level 4 ($44.37 - $47.75 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications).
