Your new role
This is an exciting time in Sacred Heart Mission’s history, as we embark on the implementation of our bold new strategic plan, Strategy 2030: Serving more people and more communities.
In this newly created role, as Head of Service Design and Development you will be a part of the new Services leadership team and drive the strategic design and growth of our services.
This role will focus on developing innovative, evidence-based service models that meet the evolving needs of the community. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for service expansion, enhance practice frameworks, and ensure our services remain high-quality, inclusive, and impactful.

Your day-to-day
- Leading the design and implementation of growth strategies for Sacred Heart Mission’s services.
- Driving service innovation and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with Strategy 2030.
- Developing and embedding practice frameworks to standardise and enhance service delivery.
- Overseeing monitoring, evaluation, and learning frameworks to ensure services are evidence-based.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to expand services into new geographies.
- Embedding lived experience and participant voice into service design and delivery.
We're looking for someone with
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing innovative, evidence-based service models.
- Strong strategic leadership skills, with a proven ability to drive service innovation and improvement.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and co-designing services with communities.
- Knowledge of homelessness, aged care, and social services sectors, including relevant policies and funding models.
- Commitment to trauma-informed care, cultural safety, and embedding participant voice into service delivery.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning frameworks.

- Salary range of $135,000 - $145,000 per annum.
