Your new role
The Journey to Social Inclusion (J2SI) Evaluation and Learning Centre (ELC) was established to work with other service providers to enable them to provide services to alleviate and prevent homelessness.
As the full-time (role ending March 2028) Housing and Partnership Coordinator you'll be focused on collaboration within the J2SI consortium. Working closely with Social and Community Housing Providers, you’ll ensure a tailored, participant-centered approach that promotes long-term housing stability.

Your Day-To-Day:
- Overseeing housing plans to help participants access stable, long-term housing - work to a "best fit" approach!
- Leading meetings, build strong relationships, and negotiate agreements with housing providers and partners.
- Pair participants with housing and support services that meet their individual needs.
- Use the Sustaining Tenancies Framework to guide procedures, training, and service delivery.
- Keep track of housing offers, meet targets, and prepare reports to show progress.
- Collaborating and coordinating closely with the ELC manager to develop projects.
Essentials for success
- A degree in a relevant field, such as Community Development.
- Experience in building partnerships or engaging with stakeholders (experience in housing or homelessness is a bonus!).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.
- Excellent organisation, time management, and record-keeping abilities.
- Confidence in presenting and speaking to groups.
- Ability to adapt to participants' needs effectively and include the voice of the participant while collaborating with different services.

- Award: Social and Community Services Level 6 - $55.46 - $57.90 per hour (depending on qualification and experience).
