Your new role

Our Clinical Care team provides high quality effective support for the clients in our Residential Service. We have part-time opportunities open for the role of Registered Nurse who will supervise care staff and liaise with all Allied Health providers to provide holistic care.

Your day-to-day

  • Coordinating and providing high-quality and caring nursing services to Sacred Heart Community residents. 
  • Supervising Personal Care Assistants, care staff and volunteers when required. 
  • Coordinating Allied Health staff and maintaining relationships with Ps, mental health services and other external health care providers. 
  • Undertaking clinical assessment and care planning and case coordination to meet the diverse needs of the residents.
  • Undertaking assessment and documentation to support funding. 

We're looking for someone

  • With a Registered Nurse qualification. 
  • With a current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA). 
  • Experienced in Aged Care with residents who have experienced trauma and/or homelessness. 
  • Compassionate and responsive to resident's needs. 
  • Able to work within the Aged Care Quality Standards and other relevant nursing legislation.
