Your new role
Our exciting new Homes First team has a maximum-term part-time (0.6 FTE) role available for Program Coordinator Homes First, role ending 2028!
As the Coordinator you will be part of implementing the newly funded Homes First program, delivering services in Outer Eastern Melbourne (Croydon and Surrounds). The program involves delivering culturally safe three-year flexible support packages to clients who need support to sustain tenancies or move into stable housing, over three intakes.

Your day to day
You will ensure the operational excellence of the program by overseeing daily operations and setting and monitoring team targets, progress, and strategies. You will be responsible for supervision, support, and guidance of a team of case managers as well as engaging and managing strong partnerships with external key stakeholders while completing compliance reporting as required.
Additionally, this role will also provide exciting opportunities to contribute to organisational projects and initiatives as you'll be working internally with a collaborative leadership team that supports a range of client facing programs across Sacred Heart Mission.
What we are looking for
- An appropriate degree qualification relevant to community services.
- Experience in a leadership role (desirable).
- Experience in case management and service coordination.
- Ability to create and support a culturally safe workplace.
- Available to be on-call as required.
- Ability to adapt to clients' needs effectively and include the voice of the client while collaborating with different services.

- Maximum-term part-time (0.6FTE) contract ending 2028.
- Social and Community Services Employee Level 6 (dependent on experience and qualifications).
