Your new role
Sacred Heart Mission's Services Program has a maximum term part-time role as Practice Lead available!
The Practice Lead plays a critical role in enhancing the quality and consistency of practice across our service programs. This position provides expert guidance, clinical supervision, and support to client facing staff, ensuring the integration of trauma-informed approaches into everyday practice.
Working directly with the Head of Practice this role collaborates closely with program managers and senior leaders to drive practice development, deliver group reflective practice, facilitate clinical supervision, and contribute to the creation of practice resources that align with organisational priorities and SHM's Strategic Plan 2030.

Your day-to-day
- Provide regular, high quality practice supervision for client facing staff
- Provide regular group reflective practice to program teams.
- Develop and provide tailored training to respond to team needs.
- Contribute to the implementation of the Mission’s Strategic Plan 2030.
- Support the Head of Practice in the provision of Practice Supervision and Reflective Practice across the organisation.
We're looking for someone with
- Tertiary level qualifications in a relevant discipline (i.e. Social Work, Psychology).
- A relevant post graduate qualification or demonstrated substantial experience in provision of practice supervision.
- Experience and confidence in the delivery of training.
- A keen interest in building capacity through developing high quality psychosocial practice.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across a range of teams and implement person-centered, inclusive language.
You can look forward to
- Providing long term support and practice supervision to staff over a 3-year program
- Base salary of $55.46 to $57.90 per hour depending on experience, plus superannuation and 17.5% leave loading
- Maximum term part time contract working 45.6 hours per fortnight until August 2025, and then dropping to 22.8 hours per fortnight until 31 March 2028
