Your new role
Business services encompasses finance & payroll, ICT, property and maintenance. ICT manages the infrastructure, security and Microsoft software, users and hardware. ICT centrally purchase and negotiate hardware and manages providers such as WAN, telephony and tickets for services or problem solving for Sacred Heart users.
Working full time you will be solving IT problems, scoping out project needs, assisting with the development of Power BI reports and procuring the best value for ICT services and hardware for Sacred Heart Mission.

Your day-to-day
A typical day can involve managing the team to resolve ICT issues from the "Business as Usual" tickets anything from access to systems for onboarding and setting up new equipment . You will also be mentoring the ICT team to broaden their knowledge and lead, and future requirements of ICT. You could also be checking the dashboard monitoring systems across SHM for unusual or potential cyber activity, or giving advice on the best way to implement some ICT software
We're looking for someone who
- Is excited by using ICT skills to improve the ICT experience and performance work within a Not for Profit, and passionate about assisting people experiencing disadvantage
- Can use your commercial acumen to obtain best value for procurement of hardware and services
- Can manage projects as well as ensure that the day to day and “Business as Usual” tickets are resolved in a timely manner
- Trouble shoots when there is an ICT outage
- Loves technology to drive efficiencies
- Articulates ICT strategy to managers
